Golden Earring

MY FIRST LOCAL COLLABORATION (Photo courtesy of The Pigment Project)

I am so excited to announce that I’ll be working with my first local business since moving to Helena!  The fabulous ladies of The Pigment Project specialize in minimalist loom beaded earrings.  Here’s a quick bio:

Inspired by the desire to craft on a beautiful vintage loom, Jessica and Jillian started beading earrings as a hobby in early 2012.  Production was catapulted into overdrive with the onset of Montana’s long, cold winters, inspiring many new designs.  All items are lightweight, handmade, one-of-a-kind, and made with quality materials.

Jessica and Jillian are both graphic designers by trade.  This inspires their love for playing with shape, texture and color, hence the name “The Pigment Project.”  The girls hail from opposite corners of the country, but now live in Helena.  They’re enthusiastic about the response to their earrings and hope their customers revel in the playful and peculiar color combinations as much as they do.

Earrings by The Pigment Project can be found at Tart in Bozeman, Frayed Sew in Helena, FreshRX in Butte, online at and Etsy.  In Jackson Hole, WY, you can find them at MADE.

The Pigment Project was recently featured on Justina Blakeney’s lifestyle blog!  Click here to check it out.

Keep an eye out for images from our upcoming collaboration.  And pick up a pair of these gorgeous handcrafted beauties for yourself or a special someone in time for Valentine’s Day!
